The Fuston Cemetery in DeKalb County is in need of money for mowing the grass. J.C. Cantrell has been mowing it for all of these years without pay. His parents are buried there. Mr. Cantrell died last year. They have a guy who will mow it for $60 every two or three weeks, April through September. Some of the names of people buried there are the Taylors, Kirbys, Delongs, Judkins, Hicks, Cantrells, and others. The cemetery is located 1.8 miles out the Keltonburg Road (Highway 288) on the right. Go through the gate and then about a fourth of a mile to the cemetery. Please check and see if you have relatives buried there. A fund has been set up for this. You can send money or a check to Ivadell Randolph, 787 Keltonburg Road, Smithville 37166. Also note at the bottom of the check that this is for the Fuston Cemetery Fund.
