43 year old Sherry Gail Brazle Potter of Nashville died Monday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was a waitress and a member of the Blues Hill Church of Christ. The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Wayne Prater will officiate and burial will be in the Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hershel and Alberta Brazle, Larue Redmon, and Velmer Bogle. Survivors include daughters, Holly Mercedes Sevier of Nashville, Krisann Hollis of McMinnville, and Megan Brazle of Woodbury. Grandchildren, Alex and Isabella Sevier of Nashville. Father and friend, Bernie Brazle of the Short Mountain Community and Joan Nave. Mother and step-father, Judy Brazle and Frank Crabtree of McMinnville. Sister, Joyce Ann and husband Shane Hollis of McMinnville. Brother, Nathan Brazle of McMinnville. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles survive. Special friend, James Nelson.
