75 year old Glen Frazier of Smithville died Sunday at his residence. He was a member and Elder of the Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Army Reserve, Military policeman, founder of the DeKalb County Jr. Pro Football League, former President of the DeKalb County Little League, and a former member of the Smithville Volunteer Fire Department. Frazier was also a retired electronics teacher at DCHS. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Larry Green will officiate and burial will be in the Burton-Ponder Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Frazier was preceded in death by his parents, William Spencer and Hassie Puckett Frazier and a brother, William Gary Frazier. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sammye Frazier of Smithville. Three children, Jonathan and wife Jennifer Frazier of Smyrna, Christie and husband Dennis Young of Smithville, and Will and wife Kim Frazier of Smithville. Nine grandchildren, Kaleb Frazier, Joshua Frazier, Kendall Frazier, Ryan Young, Riley Young, Alex Hall, Kenzie France, Bella France, and Gavin Frazier. Two sisters, Ilene Trapp of Smithville and Lila Downs of Knoxville. Two nieces, four nephews, two great nieces, nine great nephews, one great great nephew, and two great great nieces. An aunt, Jewel Love of Woodbury. Several cousins also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In addition to flowers, donations can be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Building fund or the Lighthouse Christian Camp.
