73 year old Johnny Edward Williams of Smithville died Saturday Night at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Edgar & Ola May Dedmon Williams. He was retired from the City of Smithville and a Member of the Smithville Church of Christ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Williams; Brothers: Roy, Pete & J.B. Williams; Sisters: Aline Bates, Mattie Oleta West and Marie Rucker and his father in law Sam Hendrixson. Funeral Services will be held 2:PM Tuesday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Dan Gulley and Tim Woodward officiating and burial in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Monday 11:AM until 8:PM and Tuesday 10:AM until time of the service at 2:PM. Survivors include Mother-in-law Nina Hendrixson of Smithville; Sister-in-law Donna Hendrixson and Fiance Terry Mahle of Smithville; Niece: LaVaughnda (John) Baker of McMinnville; Great Nephew: Wesley Tatrow of McMinnville; Sister: Louise Sweeney of Hartsville; Brother: Brownie (Ann) Williams of Gordonsville; Sister-in-law: JoAnn Williams of Murfreesboro; Nieces: Teresa (Michael) French, Annette Williams (Kenneth) Warrick, Jeanette Williams. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Smithville Church of Christ. DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville is in charge of arrangements
