89 year old William "Bill" Forrest Randalls of Smithville died Thursday morning at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was the son of the late John and Georgia Gleaves Randalls. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 wives, Eva Pauline Randalls and Clara Belle Randalls; daughter, Louise Gibson; grandson, Forrest Wayne Wright; 3 brothers, John, Tommy and Doris Randalls. Mr. Randalls was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Battle of the Bulge and was a member of the Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church and was a former member of the Green Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters, Billie (Earl) Warrick of Nashville and Annita (Kale) Carver of Mt. Juliet; step-son, Eddie (Elizabeth) Ervin of Nashville; sister, Helen (Robert) Perkins of Radcliff, KY; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:AM Monday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with W.D. Thomason officiating and burial at 2:PM Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville. Visitation will be Sunday 1:PM until 7:PM and Monday 9:AM until the time of service at 11:AM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
