The DeKalb County High School golf teams took match victories over Jackson County and Clay County, Tuesday, at RiverWatch.
The Tigers shot a 156, which was seven strokes better than the Blue Devils, who finished with a 163. Clay County came in with a 223. Payne Denman shot a 36 to lead the Tigers, while Austin Garrett tallied a 38. Grant James was next with a 39, followed by Logan Clark with a 43.
The Lady Tigers, meanwhile, shot an 89 to knock off the Lady Blue Devils, who shot a 120 for the afternoon. Clay County did not field a girls team. Shay Sullivan scored a 38 for the DC girls, while Kalli Mitchell tallied a 51.
