The DCHS Tigers and Lady Tigers swept both games at Gordonsville Tuesday night with the girls winning 67 to 31 and the boys getting a 71 to 58 victory.
In the girls game, DC led 20 to 8 after the 1st period, 44 to 19 at halftime, and 61 to 28 after the 3rd period before winning 67 to 31.
Emme Colwell paced the Lady Tigers in scoring with 16 followed by Joni Robinson with 11. Megan Walker and Megan Cantrell each with 9. Mya Ruch 8, Mallori Hart 7. Lydia Brown 3 and Sophie Cripps and Leah Davis each with 2 points.
The Tigers trailed Gordonsville 15 to 14 after the 1st period. The game was tied at 31 by halftime. DC pulled ahead 48 to 44 by the end of the 3rd period and went on to win 71 to 58.
Tanner Poss had a big night with 24 points. Michael Elswick and Colter Norris each scored 11. Nathan Atkins 8. Marshal Evins and Trey Jones each with 7 and Austin Johnson with 3.
DeKalb County will play at Watertown Friday night, December 1 starting with the girls game at 6 p.m.
