Saints lose season finale

The DeKalb Middle School Saints lost their last game of the regular season, Tuesday night, as they traveled to Lafayette and suffered a 14-6 setback to the Macon County Tigers.

The Saints got on the board first on Ethan Roller's 64-yard touchdown pass to Sonny Young, early in the second quarter. The 6-0 DMS advantage held up through halftime.

Macon County tied the game late in the third quarter on a 10-yard touchdown run by Shane Hedgen. The Tigers then took the lead with 3:08 to go in the fourth quarter on Aaron Carter's seven-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Kemp. Hedgen ran in the extra point to cap off the scoring.

The Saints finish the regular season with a record of three wins and four losses.
