The DCHS Tigerettes defeated Macon County 5 to 4 at Lafayette Thursday.
The Tigerettes scored 5 runs on 10 hits and made 1 error. Macon County scored 4 runs on 8 hits and made no errors.
DeKalb County scored 1 run in the 5th inning and 2 runs in the 6th and 7th innings. Macon County scored 2 runs in the 1st inning and 1 run in the 5th and 7th innings.
Emme Colwell was the winning pitcher. Madison Whitehead was credited with the save.
Megan Walker, Allison Maynard, and Braya Murphy each had a single. Maddison Parsley had 2 singles and a double. Kenzie France and Kelly Roberts each with double and Joni Robinson with 2 doubles.
