The Tigers and Pioneers battled into overtime Friday night at McMinnville but Warren County prevailed winning 67 to 58.
The Lady Tigers lost to their border rivals in the earlier game 40 to 35.
In the boys contest, the Pioneers led 17 to 13 after the 1st period but the game was tied at 30 by intermission. The Tigers pulled ahead 44 to 43 by the end of the 3rd period but the game was tied at 54 in regulation sending it to overtime. Warren County outscored the Tigers 13 to 4 in OT and won 67 to 58.
Marshal Evins and Trey Jones each scored 14 for the Tigers. Tanner Poss 12. Austin Johnson 10. Nathan Atkins 7 and Dallas Cook with 1 point.
For the girls, the Lady Tigers trailed 13 to 6 after the 1st period and 21 to 20 at halftime. DC grabbed a 29 to 27 lead after the 3rd period but fell behind in the 4th quarter and lost 40 to 35.
