The DeKalb High School Basketball teams hosted the Livingston Academy Wildcats Tuesday night with the Tigers winning 78 to 71 and the Lady Tigers falling 45 to 30.
In the girls game, the Lady Tigers trailed 10 to 5 after the first period, 20 to 16 at halftime, and 27 to 25 after the third period. Again the final was 45 to 30 in favor of Livingston Academy.
Loren Cripps scored 8. Paige Winningham and Abbey Caldwell each with 7, Chelsea Lewis had 5 and Morgan Pedigo with 3.
The Tigers trailed the Wildcats 19 to 17 after the first period but grabbed a 44 to 37 halftime lead. Livingston Academy pulled ahead 59 to 58 by the end of the third period but the Tigers regained the advantage and won 78 to 71.
Steven Howell scored 26. Sonni Fullilove and Braxton Atnip each scored 19. Lucas Phillips 7, Ethan Roller 5, and Will Molander scored 2.
