Tigers' Season Ends with Loss to Sequoyah in Sub-State

The DeKalb County Tigers lost on the road to Sequoyah Saturday 7 to 1 in the Sub-State ending their season at 19-17 overall.

The Tigers scored one run on four hits. Aaron Patterson and Sam McMillen each had two singles. Steven Jennings, the losing pitcher, gave up six runs through four innings. He struck out five and walked one. Devin Summers came in for one inning. He struck out one and walked one. John Roller went one inning on the mound and gave up one run on two hits.

The Tigers's only run came in the third inning. Sequoyah scored two runs in the first inning, one run in the third, one run in the fourth, two runs in the fifth, and one run in the sixth inning.
