The DeKalb County Tiger baseball team lost at Macon County, 11-2, Monday night in a District 7-AA clash.
The Tigers scored a run in both the second and third innings to grab a 2-0 lead, but Macon County posted five runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead for good. Macon added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth, and four runs in the sixth.
Trey Finley was the losing DeKalb County pitcher, as he allowed seven runs on four hits, struck out three, walked four and hit a batter. Zack Rowland came on in relief, and allowed four runs on three hits and struck out one. The Tigers committed two errors.
At the plate, Bray Page had two singles and an RBI. Cody Atnip had two singles. Destry Wiggins had a double, while Rowland and Joseph Bowen each had a single.
