The DeKalb County Tigers defeated the Portland Panthers 54 to 37 in the Saturday night session of the Mitch Wilson Classic at Cannon County High School in Woodbury. The Lady Tigers, suffered their first loss of the season, falling to Siegel 45 to 42.
The Tigers led the Panthers 19 to 5 after the first period, 30 to 17 at halftime, and 40 to 31 after the third period. DC outscored Portland 14 to 6 in the fourth quarter and won 54 to 37.

The Lady Tigers trailed Siegel 12 to 8 after the first period, 21 to 18 at halftime, and 31 to 26 after the third period before falling 45 to 42.
