DeKalb Jr. Pro sweeps Cumberland Co., KY
All three of DeKalb County's Jr. Pro football teams claimed victory, this past Saturday, in Smithville, against Cumberland County, Kentucky.
The DeKalb Junior "B" Team won their game, 28-0, while the Junior Tigers claimed a 45-6 decision, and the Senior Tigers also won easily, 36-0.
In the B-Team game, DeKalb County had 239 rushing yards, led by Chandler Vincent and Chandler Shaw, each with 83 yards on four carries. Vincent also added three touchdowns. Lee Randolph ran for 40 yards on two carries, and added another score.
Defensively, Bradey Hughes and Noah Gill each had four tackles, while James Stephens added three.
In the Junior Tigers' win, DeKalb rushed for an even 200 yards on 15 carries, led by A.J. Mooneyham, with 141 yards on five carries, with four touchdowns. Mooneyham added another touchdown on a 56-yard kick return. Isaac Beck added 32 yards, while Jacob Washer ran for 19 more. Both Beck and Washer scored one touchdown.
