Tigerettes Lose to Lionettes

The DeKalb County Tigerettes lost 4 to 3 to Cannon County at Woodbury Tuesday.

Cannon County scored four runs on seven hits and made no errors. DeKalb County scored three runs on six hits and made five errors.

The Tigerettes scored one run in the first and two runs in the second inning. Cannon County scored one run in the first, third, fourth, and seventh inning.

Tigers Outslug Dragons 12-2

After beating the Dragons 12 to 1 on Monday in Smithville, the DeKalb County Tigers went to Jamestown Tuesday and won 12 to 2.

The Tigers scored three runs in the first inning, one run in the third, five runs in the fifth, one run in the sixth, and two runs in the seventh inning. The Dragons scored one run in the fourth and one run in the seventh.

Tigers Slay Dragons 12-1

The DeKalb County Tigers slew the York Institute Dragons in Smithville Monday, winning 12 to 1 in five innings.

DC scored two runs in the first inning, six runs in the second, and four runs in the fourth inning. The Dragons scored one run in the first inning.

Tigers Blank Lions 8-0

Tiger pitcher Cody Puckett pitched a one hit shutout through six innings in an 8-0 win over the Cannon County Lions Tuesday in Smithville.

Puckett struck out ten and walked one. Stephen Page came in for the last inning and gave up one hit and struck out two.

The Tigers scored five runs in the first inning and three runs in the fourth.

Tigers Beat Lions at Woodbury

The DeKalb County Tigers knocked off the Cannon County Lions 3 to 1 in Woodbury on Monday.

DC scored two runs in the fourth inning and one run in the sixth inning, The Lions scored one run in the first inning.

Devin Summers, the winning pitcher, gave up one run on four hits through seven innings. He struck out five and walked two.

Tigerettes Drop Both Games Saturday in Plateau Invitational

The DeKalb County Tigerettes dropped both games in the Plateau Invitational at Crossville Saturday, losing 2 to 1 to Lavergne and 4 to 2 to Sequatchie County.

In the first game, the Tigerettes scored one run in the second inning while Lavergne scored one run in both the first and third innings. DC had three hits and made no errors. Lavergne got six hits and made no errors.

Tigerettes 1-1 in Plateau Invitational

The DeKalb County Tigerettes are 1-1 in the Plateau Invitational being played this weekend at Crossville.

DeKalb County lost 1-0 to Gordonsville but defeated White County 8-0 on Friday.

In the game with Gordonsville, DC had five hits but was shutout. The Tigerettes committed one error. Gordonsville scored one run, in the first inning, and had two hits with no errors.
