The DeKalb County Lady Tigers knocked off Warren County in Smithville Thursday night 44 to 37 while the Tigers lost to the Pioneers 78 to 47.
The DCHS Tigers and Lady Tigers split a pair of games with the visiting Macon County teams Tuesday night in Smithville.
The home standing Lady Tigers won 52 to 38 while the black and gold Tigers lost 60 to 44.
In the girls game, DeKalb County led 22 to 8 after the first period, 27 to 15 at halftime, and 34 to 29 after the third period before winning 52 to 38.
The Tigers and Lady Tigers were swept at Jamestown Friday night by York Institute.
DeKalb County lost the girls game 64 to 56 and dropped the boys game 72 to 42.
The DCHS Basketball teams lost to Livingston Academy Tuesday night in Smithville.
The Lady Wildcats topped the Lady Tigers 64 to 55 and the Wildcats beat the Tigers 69 to 52.
In the girls game, DeKalb County led 22 to 20 after the first period and 33 to 30 at halftime before Livingston Academy grabbed a 47 to 40 lead after the third period and went on to win 64 to 55.
The DCHS Basketball teams lost to Upperman at Baxter Friday night.
The Lady Tigers fell to the Lady Bees 66 to 32 and the Tigers were stung 70 to 29.
In the girls game, Upperman led 13 to 6 after the first period, 37 to 18 at halftime, and 54 to 29 after the third period before going on to win 66 to 32.
The DCHS basketball teams dropped a pair of games at McMinnville Tuesday night to their Warren County border rivals.
The Lady Tigers lost 61 to 56 while the Tigers fell 60 to 46.
The DeKalb County Tigers lost their first game of the season Monday night at Gordonsville 60 to 46 while the Lady Tigers won 58 to 38.
In the girls game, DeKalb County led 15 to 6 after the first period, 37 to 12 at halftime, and 50 to 24 after the third period before going on to win 58 to 38.
The DCHS basketball teams defeated Boyd Christian in the home opener Tuesday night in Smithville. The Lady Tigers won 52 to 31 and the Tigers prevailed 55 to 42.

A missed field goal in the last minute of the game perhaps kept the DeKalb County Tigers from advancing in the Class 3A State Play-offs Friday night in Smithville.
