Maddison Parsley had a 4 hit day in helping lead the DCHS Tigerettes past Cannon County 10 to 3 Thursday.
Parsley singled in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th innings.
The Tigerettes scored 10 runs on 11 hits and made 5 errors. Cannon County scored 3 runs on 8 hits and made 6 errors.
DeKalb County scored 2 runs in the 1st inning, 4 runs in the 3rd, 1 run in the 4th, 2 runs in the 6th, and 1 run in the 7th inning. Cannon County scored 1 run in the 2nd, 6th, and 7th innings.
Kenzie France took the win for the Tigerettes. She surrendered 1 run on 4 hits over 4 innings, striking out 3 and walking 1. Madison Whitehead and Emme Colwell entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Whitehead gave up 1 run on 3 hits through 2 innings. She struck out 3 and walked 1. Colwell gave up 1 run on 1 hit through 1 inning. She struck out 1.
For the game, Maddison Parsley had 4 hits and 2 RBI, Emme Colwell with 2 hits including a homerun and 2RBI, Madison Whitehead with 1 hit and 1 RBI, and Jacey Hatfield, Megan Walker, Braya Murphy, and Joni Robinson each had a hit. Kenzie France had 3 RBI.
