Jerry Donald Oliver, Sr., age 74 of Goodletsville, TN passed away January 12, 2020 after an extended illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie H. and Popie (Starnes) Oliver; sister, Callie Sue Oliver and brother, Perry F. Oliver.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, June H. Oliver; son, Jerry Donald Oliver, Jr (Sharon); daughter, Kelly Grooms (Tyler); grandchildren, Dylan Grooms, Shantrell McDaniel and Chloe McDaniel.
Jerry was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Madison, TN. He was a 1964 graduate from DeKalb County High School. Jerry worked for and retired from Metro Nashville Water Department.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 6:00 pm Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Shrum and Chaplain Lane Stockeland officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 pm until time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
