The DeKalb West School Bulldogs fell behind early and couldn’t mount a comeback in a 7 to 2 loss to Prescott on Thursday.
Prescott scored 7 runs on 6 hits and made 1 error. The Bulldogs scored 2 runs on 1 hit and made 2 errors.
Prescott scored 2 runs in the 1st inning, 1 run in the 2nd, 2 runs in the 4th, and 2 runs in the 6th inning. The Bulldogs scored 2 runs in the 1st inning.
Ian Colwell, the losing pitcher, gave up 3 runs on 2 hits over 2 innings. He struck out 1. Jordan Parker and Tyler Jackson each came in relief for 2 innings.
Ty Webb had a hit for the Bulldogs.
