Willie Hazel Taylor Johnson age 86 of Smithville passed away Monday February 7, 2022 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville. She was born November 29, 1935 to her parents, the late Columbus and Clara Colwell Young. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands: Dan C. Taylor and Cecil Johnson; Sisters: Kelly Young, Audrey Harris; Brother: James Leonard Young. Funeral services will be held 1:PM on Friday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Ric Lee and Mike Carpenter officiating and burial to follow in Adcock Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday 9:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM. She is survived by son: Anthony Mark Taylor of Smithville; Daughter: Cherri Murphy of Florida; Grandchildren: Daniel J. Taylor of Smithville, Cody Brandon Murphy of Murfreesboro; 2 Great Grandchildren; Great Niece: Rhonda Young of Smithville; Several friends at church also survive. THE FUNERAL HOME LOUNGE IS CLOSED AT THIS TIME, NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
