Mrs. Helga Tramel Bain age 82 of Smithville, TN passed away Monday at her residence.
Mrs. Bain was born on October 18, 1939 in Berlin, Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Roy Tramel and parents, Wolfgang & Margot Appich. Mrs. Bain was past member of the Smithville B. P. & W. club and taught Sunday School and was an active member at Whorton Springs Baptist Church.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home but a graveside service will be held Sunday Feb. 20 @ 1:00 pm in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her 3 children, Deborah (Ralph) Owen, Sabrina (Thomas) Porter both of TX & Jim Tramel of Lascassas, Sister, Monika (Willi) Theissen of Germany, 3 Granddaughters, Jill (Tyler) Studinka, Rebecca Owen both of TX and Addie Bell Tramel of Lascassas, 1 Grandson, Walton Tramel of Lascassas, 2 Great-Grandchildren Grady & Ada Studinka of TX, Niece, Tonja Theissen of Germany.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations please be made to Whorton Springs Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Bain.
