Linson Farless age 76 of Morrison passed away Wednesday evening, May 11, 2022 at NHC HealthCare Center n McMinnville. He was born June 3, 1945 in Van Buren County to his parents, the late John Herman and Delma Hillis Farless. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah J. Farless; sisters, Wavie Schrecengost and Mary Farless; brothers, Carson Farless, Leonard Farless and William Thomas Farless; and nephew, Ronnie Schrecengost. Linson was a plain country man that loved and was loved by so many. He was a hard worker and loved working the land. He worked in nursery work and to have only had a 3rd grade education, he knew more about plants and trees than someone with a degree. Linson was funny and enjoyed life. He was a member of the McMinnville Church of God, formerly Locust Street Chruch of God. He leaves to cherish his memory, 3 daughters, Lisa (Brian) Holt and Amy (Brent) Aughinbaugh both of McMinnville and Clarlisa Farless of Cookeville; 4 grandchildren, Alicia (Brandon) Knight, Ciara Holt, Beckham Holt and Malachi Aughinbaugh; 2 great-grandchildren, Gracie and Sadie; honorary family members, The family of his late wife, Deborah J. Farless; brother, Troy Farless; 2 sisters, Earlene Jennings and Debra Bess; sister-in-law, Janice Farless; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Life honoring his life, will be 1 PM Saturday May 14, 2022 at the McMinnville Church of God with Bro. Tommy Burke officiating and burial will follow in Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County. Visitation will be Saturday 11:AM until the time of the service at 1 PM at the McMinnville Church of God. In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the McMinnville Church of God, in loving memory of Mr. Linson. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff of NHC McMinnville and Caris Hospice for the love and care shown to Mr. Farless.
