A McMinnville man on probation was found with methamphetamine during a traffic stop last week.
35 year old Jason James McKeon is charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine. He is also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. McKeon is under a $6,500 bond and his court date is January 17.
Sheriff Patrick Ray said that on Tuesday, December 18 a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a white Nissan Altima on West Broad Street. McKeon, who is on probation, was a passenger in the vehicle. McKeon submitted to a probation search and a scale was found in his front pants pocket. A search of the vehicle turned up two clear baggies which contained a crystal like substance and weighed 0.8 grams; another container with the same type substance which weighed 0.5 grams; and a needle with 10 cc’s of a clear fluid believed to be meth. All the drugs were found in the area where McKeon was seated in the vehicle.
