Trooper Chris Delong of the Tennessee Highway Patrol said 61 year old Mark Wallace was driving west in a 2002 Toyota 4 door passenger car when the vehicle went off the right side of the road in a curve and crashed. The car rolled over before coming to rest upright facing east.

Wallace was treated at the scene by DeKalb EMS and taken to a helicopter landing zone where he was airlifted to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.
