Jefry Vincent Overall age 48 of McMinnville passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital in Smithville. He was born September 1, 1970 in Joliet, IL. Jefry was preceded in death by his fathers, Jerry Overall and Dr. Melvin L. Blevins. He worked as a laborer. He is survived by his wife, Donna Overall of McMinnville; 2 sons, Adain Kane Overall and Alec Vilain both of McMinnville; mother, Jo Ann “Jody” Blevins of Smithville; 3 brothers, Michael Blevins of Bozeman, MT, Justin Blevins and Patrick Blevins both of Portland, OR; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. The family has honored Jefry’s request to be cremated and there will be a Public Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 4 PM until 7 PM at DeKalb Funeral Chapel and a Private Memorial Service will be held later. In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Prescott House in Arizona or the American Diabetes Association, in memory of Jefry, those donations may be made at the funeral home. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. J.T. Webster, age 83, of Sykes, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
Mr. J.T. was born March 21, 1935, in the Sykes Community of Smith County, TN, son of the late Ulus S. Webster and Dessie Lee Helmontaller. He married Dorothy “Dot” Thomas on December 22, 1956. J.T. was a 1953 graduate of Gordonsville High School. He worked as a supervisor for over 34 years until his retirement for Textron Industries which later became Avco. J.T. was also a lifelong farmer.
J.T. was a longtime member of the Gideons International and was faithful to help with the Jail Ministry and visit nursing homes, funeral homes, and hospitals. J.T. was a lifelong member of the Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Webster is survived by Wife; Dorothy “Dot” Thomas Webster of Sykes, TN. Sons; Greg (Pixie) Webster of Gordonsville, TN, and Gavin (Kelli) Webster of Watertown, TN. Three Grandchildren; Jenny (Chris) Dill, Shaun Webster, and Bryce Webster. Two great-grandchildren; Parker Smith and Caleb Dill. Sister; Lurlie Underwood of Sykes, TN.
Funeral Services for Mr. Webster are scheduled to be conducted from the Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3PM with Bro. Dennis Croslin officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the Webster Family will be at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday from 2PM until 8PM and at the Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Sunday after 1PM until service time at 3PM.
Family requests memorials be made to the Union Hill Cemetery Mowing Fund.

Mary Louise Cantrell age 89 of Smithville passed away Wednesday morning, October 31, 2018 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. She was born April 14, 1929 to her parents, the late Aaron Louis and Vera Lola Pollard Mabe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Seborn Cantrell; 4 brothers, Dexter Mabe, Jewel Mabe, Jerry Wayne Mabe and Louis Mabe; 2 sisters, Pauline Billings and Roeina Mabe and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Louise was a faithful member of the Mt. View Primitive Baptist Church and a retired shirt factory worker. She is survived by 1 son, Dana Cantrell of Smithville; foster daughter, Doris (Steve) Cantrell of Smithville; 1 granddaughter, Arian Cantrell; 1 brother, Carlon (Jeanette) Mabe of Smithville; 1 sister, Linda (Gene) Jones of Bon Air; sisters-in-law, Lillian (Brownie) Tittsworth of Smithville, Judy Cantrell, Lois Gay and Marie Mabe all of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Dale Cantrell of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2018 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Elders Paul Violet and Ricky Arnold officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Monday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel, to help with funeral expenses. Kimberly Faith Fuson age 63 of Smithville passed away Tuesday morning October 30, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She was born September 9, 1955 to her parents, the late Roy Smith and Ameena Ruman Howe. She was a restaurant worker and a member of the Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Gary Lee Fuson, II. Funeral Services will be held 11:AM Saturday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Larry Steffee officiating and burial to follow in the Bonham Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:AM until time of the service at 11:AM. Survivors include: Husband of 32 yrs. Gary Lee Fuson of Smithville; Children: Nicole (Robert) Bruhn, James Fuson, William (Sarah) Fuson all of Smithville, Danaelle Pace, Michael Morris both of Detroit, MI., Maria Fuson of Danville, VA.; 14 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Brothers: Roy (Sherry) Smith of Smithville, Keith (Kathy) Smith, Mark Smith both of Clawson, MI. 80 year old Shirley Ann Foutch of Alexandria passed away Tuesday at Signature Health Care in Cookeville. She was retired from Designs by Norvell and a member of the Coopers Chapel Baptist Church. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home. Freddie Curtis will officiate and burial will be in Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rep and Vinnie Johnson; her husband, Jimmy Foutch; her first husband, Joe Allen Cubbins; a daughter, Gelonda Marie Cubbins; brothers and sisters, Oval Johnson, Donald Dop Johnson, Emily Athalee Johnson Fathera, Jim Wade Johnson, Annie Loraine Johnson, Charlie Wash Johnson, and James Uel Johnson. Survivors include daughters, Melissa and husband Dwight Gee of Elkmont, Alabama and Monica and husband Wendell Fowler of Carthage. Grandchildren, Adam Farler of Huntsville, Alabama, Tyler Foutch of Carthage and Wesley Fowler of Carthage. Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangements.

66 year old John Richard Wright of Smithville passed away Monday at his residence. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Douglas Wright and step-father, Jerry Leasure. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Phifer Wright of Smithville. Three daughters, Stacy and Ronnie Taylor, Julie Wright, and Mary Wright and fiancé Tim Sharp all of Smithville. Mother and step father, Lucy and Eddie Lawrence of Smithville. Seven grandchildren, Emily and Aaron Matthews, Matthew Wright, Olivia Barber, Nick and Mikayla Wright, Mercedes Barber, Ashton Wright, and Keegan Taylor. Two great grandchildren, Isaiah and Camden Wright. Five step-grandchildren. Siblings, Robert and Tina Wright of Hohenwald, Judy and Gene Jackson of Smithville, Dave and Debbie Wright of Hohenwald, Cheryl and Randy Campbell of Liberty, and Kenny Wright of Livingston. Half-siblings, Jeri Ann and Kerry Parker of Alexandria, Laura and Thomas Terrell of Elyria, Ohio. Several step sisters, step brothers, cousins, nephews, and nieces also survive.
