13 year old Found Drunk with his Intoxicated Uncle

A Morrison man is in trouble after he and his 13 year old nephew were found drunk.

34 year old Christopher Ryan Inge was arrested on March 9 and charged with public intoxication and he was cited for violation of the open container law and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Chief Mark Collins said police were called to Mapco Express due to a suspicious vehicle and upon arrival found it in the parking lot with a flat tire. The officer spoke with the owner, Inge and noticed that he had an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and he was unsteady on his feet. Inge’s 13 year old nephew was a passenger and was also intoxicated. An open bottle of liquor was found in the back seat. Inge became agitated when the officer told him that he would not be able to drive due to the flat tire and that he would probably need to have the automobile towed. Inge was taken into custody for his safety and that of the public. Bond for Inge is $3,500 and his court date is March 21.

45 year old Regina Carol Valdez of 9139 Holmes Creek Road was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia on March 3. Valdez was a passenger in a vehicle that had been pulled over for a traffic violation. Police spotted a glass pipe wrapped in a blue napkin stuck halfway inside a stuffed animal laying on the dash board in front of Valdez. After obtaining consent from the owner to search the vehicle, the officer recovered the pipe. He also found in Valdez’ pocket a torch lighter commonly used to smoke methamphetamine. Her court date is March 28.

33 year old Danny Ray Prater of McMinnville was arrested on March 4 for public intoxication. Police responded to an unwanted person complaint at 319 Jackson Street. Upon arrival the officer found Prater outside the residence and he appeared to be extremely agitated, sweaty, and unable to stand still. Prater was determined to be under the influence of an intoxicant. For his safety and that of the public, Prater was taken into custody. He is under a $2,500 bond and his court date is March 21.

30 year old Cassandra Renee Reed of 343 Foster Road was cited on March 5 for improperly passing a school bus, a driver license violation, registration violation, and financial responsibility. Police observed Reed pass a school bus which had stopped and was discharging children on West Broad Street. A computer check with central dispatch revealed Reed’s license to be revoked for failure to satisfy fines and costs in Warren County. Reed also could not provide proof of registration for tags nor valid insurance. Her court date is March 20.

25 year old Enrique Adelaido Lomas of 624 New Home Road was arrested on March 6 for possession of methamphetamine with intent to manufacture, deliver, or sell while 49 year old David D. Anderson of Liberty was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. While on routine patrol, police spotted a man exit a parked white truck and open the hood at City Walk Apartments. Due to previous reports of suspicious activity with multiple burglaries having occurred recently in the area the officer approached the truck and found three men in the vehicle. He asked the owner of the automobile, Lomas if he had anything illegal in the truck and Lomas replied “no”.  After obtaining consent to search, the officer found underneath the hood a baggie with a clear crystal substance laying on a rag. It weighed 0.5 grams and tested positive for methamphetamine. Police also found wrapped in a white cloth a clear glass pipe inside the right side pocket of a jacket laying on the front passenger seat. The jacket belonged to Anderson.  Bond for Lomas is $20,000 and both he and Anderson will make a court appearance on March 28.

27 year old Joshua Lee Franklin of 111 Hayes Street was arrested on March 9 for two counts of domestic assault. Police were called to Franklin’s home due to a physical domestic in progress and upon arrival spoke with the victims and the suspect, Franklin. Police learned that one of the victims stepped in between the other two who were arguing and that Franklin hit her in the arm and threw her to the ground. Franklin then tried to provoke the other victim to fight and attempted hitting him with a closed fist. Franklin was found to be the primary aggressor and he was taken into custody. Bond for Franklin is $7,000 and his court date is March 21.

44 year old Jose Salvador Rayas of 322 West Broad Street was arrested on March 10 for driving under the influence and he was cited for a driver license violation, open container, and financial responsibility. Police were called to 308 Braswell Lane due to an accident and found that the driver, Rayas had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person. His eyes were glossy and he was unsteady on his feet. A computer check revealed that Rayas’ license expired in 2006. He could not provide proof of insurance and two  open 24 ounce cans of beer were found inside the vehicle. Bond for Rayas is $3,500 and his court date is March 21.

62 year old Johnny Wayne Trapp of 8264 Holmes Creek Road was arrested on March 12 for public intoxication. Police were called to conduct a welfare check on an elderly man walking down the road who almost got hit by a vehicle. Upon arrival the officer spoke with the man, Trapp and observed that his speech was slurred and he was unsteady on his feet stumbling all over the roadway. When asked how much he had to drink, Trapp responded “too much”. Trapp had nowhere to go for the night so for his safety and that of the public, he was taken into custody. Bond for Trapp is $2,000 and his court date is March 21.

32 year old Joshua Peter Knockaert was arrested on March 13 for violation of an order of protection. Police were called to Wal-Mart due to a complaint of a suspicious automobile in the area and came across Knockaert and his victim in the vehicle  A computer check revealed that he is under active bond conditions to keep away from the victim. His bond is $2,500 and he will be in court March 28.

42 year old Jimmy Layne Estes of 632 Highland Street was arrested on March 14 for violation of an order of protection. While on routine patrol in the early morning hours, an officer spotted Estes in a vehicle in front of 630 Highland Street. A computer check revealed that he is under a valid order of protection and that the petitioner lives at this address. Estes was determined to be in violation of the order and was taken into custody. Bond for Estes is $2,500 and his court date is March 28.
