The DeKalb County Tigers suffered their third loss of the season Friday night falling to the Goodpasture Cougars 24 to 17 on the road in a non-region clash.

Goodpasture improves to 6-3 on the season.
Talented runner Jaron Elkins was the star of the show Friday night for the Cougars as he accounted for all three Goodpasture touchdowns in the game. The first came on a 27-yard run followed later by an 80-yard blast in the 1st period. Elkins added his third TD in the 2nd period on a 14-yard run.
