Scarlett is a fun-loving dog and if you are fun loving too you need to meet her.

Scarlett is the WJLE/ DeKalb Animal Shelter featured “Pet of the Week”

“She is an eight-year-old pitty,” said Shelter Director Emmaly Bennett. “She has been spayed and is up to date on all her vaccinations. Scarlett has been heartworm screened and is micro-chipped. This girl is fully housebroken and is great on a leash. She has lots of energy but must be the only dog in the household with no cats. She just wants to be on somebody’s couch. She is a super sweet girl and loves to play ball. Her adoption fee is $180,” said Bennett.

If you are interested in adopting Scarlett visit our website at https://www.dekalbanimalsheltertn.com/and fill out an adoption application. We will then call you to come in and meet her,” Bennett said.

The shelter is now open Monday-Friday from 8 to 4 and Saturday from 8 to 12 on Transfer Station Road behind Tenneco Automotive.
