Junior Goat Show Champion!
Andrea Kate Estes of Smithville was a big winner in the Junior Goat Show at the DeKalb County Fair Thursday evening.
Estes won for Junior Showmanship and the Doe Kid Division as well as the Overall Doe Kid and Yearling Doe Grand Championship.
She is the daughter of Andy and Emily Estes of Smithville

Twenty-seven babies from one day to twelve months old were in the spotlight during the annual Baby Show held Thursday evening at the DeKalb County Fair.
The winners (blue ribbon first place and red ribbon runner-up) are as follows:
*Twins (1 day to 12 months)
Winners: Everly and Ella Chapman, five-month-old children of Jocelyn and Corey Chapman of Dowelltown
*Boys (1 day to 3 months)
Winner: Tucker James, two-month-old son of Krysta Pedigo of Smithville
Runner-up: Huntley Daniels Wolford, one month old son of Taylor Hale and Joshua Wolford of Liberty
*Girls (1 day to 3 months)
Winner: Charlotte Cay Koelle, one month old daughter of Heather and Christian Koelle of Smithville
Runner-up: Hennessee Bailiff, one month old daughter of Jordon and Briella Bailiff of Liberty
*Boys (4-6 months)
Winner: Walker Thomas Moore, six-month-old son of Caleb and Emily Moore of Smithville
Runner-up: Eli Marshall, six-month-old son of Kristie Marshall and Jacob Marshall of Smithville
Other participant: Porter Dale Pyles, six-month-old son of Tyler and Amber Pyles of Dowelltown

Winner: Laney Dean Collier, four-month-old daughter of Matthew and Ashlyn Collier of Smithville
Runner-up: Acelynn Sue Wheeler, six-month-old daughter of Jaeleigh Castorena and Harley Wheeler of Smithville.

Winner: Branson Corey Taylor, eight-month-old son of Regan Taylor of Alexandria
*Girls (7-9 months)
Winner: Ellie Jane Chapman, eight-month-old daughter of Brandon and Kelley Chapman of Smithville
Runner-up: Haisley Rein Preston, eight-month-old daughter of Robert Preston and Christal Pegram of Alexandria.
Other participants: Katlyn Grace Gibbs, seven month old daughter of Vana Gibbs of DeKalb County; Aurora Mooneyham, seven month old daughter of Piper Hendrix and Devin Mooneyham of Alexandria; Lillie Mae Dyer, eight month old daughter of Brandon and Mandy Dyer of Liberty; Maylee Ludwig, seven month old daughter of Tyler and Angela Ludwig of Smithville; Dallas Cove Ellis, seven month old daughter of Austin and Briana Ellis of Smithville; Emerson Farris, seven month old daughter of Madison Gossard and Bryson Farris of Smithville; and Augusta Lee Hendrix, eight month old daughter of Ali Hendrix of Smithville.

Winner: Carter Knox Hale, twelve-month-old son of Jacob and Jennifer Hale of Smithville
Runner-up: Kyler James Frazier, twelve-month-old son of Austin Frazier and Kamien Sparks of Smithville
*Girls (10-12 months)
Winner: Aniyah Karentyne Loraine Banks, ten-month-old daughter of McKenzie Castorena and Carlos Banks of Smithville
Runner-up: Izora Yeomans, eleven-month-old daughter of Brandi Tinsley and Brett Yeomans of Dowelltown.
Other participants: Angelique Parsley, eleven-month-old daughter of Brenda Ramirez and Kris Parsley of Smithville; and Calliope Martin, eleven-month-old daughter of Hassier and Elijah Martin of Smithville.
Curtis Sisters win Respective Fair Pageants Wednesday Night

Sisters Addison Paige Curtis and Kallen Averie Curtis of Smithville, daughters of Heather Page and John Curtis were both crowned queen in their respective pageants Wednesday night at the DeKalb County Fair
Eleven-year-old Addison won the Miss Sweetheart pageant while 8-year-old Kallen captured the Miss Princess title.
Addison succeeds the retiring Miss Sweetheart, Baylei Anne Benson of Smithville. Baylei is the 13-year-old daughter of Karey and John Washer and Christopher Benson.
Ten-year-old Shaniya Bates of Liberty, daughter of Tom and Chyna Bates was first runner-up and Most Photogenic in the pageant.
Second runner-up went to Arraya Jenae Taylor, 11-year-old daughter of Angie Taylor of Smithville.
Callen Alizabeth Tramel, 12-year-old daughter of Hillary and Caleb Tramel of Smithville was voted Miss Congeniality.
Kallen succeeds the retiring Miss Princess Chloe Payton Myers, 8-year-old daughter of Crystal Stibil of Smithville.
Haddeigh Grace Harvey was First Runner up in the pageant. She is the 7-year-old daughter of Chad and Kayla Harvey of Alexandria
Second runner up went to Wrigley Marie Jared, 8-year-old daughter of Tim and Shelly Jared of Smithville. Wrigley was also named Miss Congeniality.
Eight-year-old Ava Grace Roller was judged Most Photogenic. She is the daughter of George and Abbey Roller of Smithville.
Rounding out the top seven were Piper Chapman, the 7-year-old daughter of Taylor and Josh Chapman of Smithville; Ava Grace Roller, 8-year-old daughter of George and Abbey Roller of Smithville; Peyton Elizabeth Knowles, 8-year-old daughter of Justin Knowles and Mary Knowles of Smithville; and Laylah Hale, 8-year-old daughter of Kaylee Hale of Dowelltown.
