The DeKalb Saints, defending Champions of the Middle Tennessee Football Conference, will open their 2019 season Thursday, August 8 at York Institute in Jamestown.
Kick-off will be at 6:30 p.m.
“We have high expectations each and every year. I expect that from these kids too. If they are not out here to compete for a championship then I don’t want them out here. We have had a high number of kids drop out through the summer and weren’t cut out for it but the 20 we have left are dedicated and ready to go but they have to show up and work each day if we are going to be successful,” said Saints Coach Justin Poteete
Last year the Saints completed an undefeated season at 8-0.
