DCHS Basketball Cheerleaders to Host MINI-CAMP

The DCHS Basketball Cheerleaders will host a MINI-CAMP for ages 4-13 on Thursday December 6th 3:30-6:00 in the DCHS cafeteria. The cost is $25 per participant (which includes a T-Shirt). Participants will also be allowed to perform during the DCHS basketball HOME game on December 7th against Watertown. Game admission is not included and must be paid at the entrance. Join in and show your TIGER PRIDE!!! Make checks payable to Basketball Cheer Club.

This camp is designed with your child in mind. It will include: cheer conditioning, motion drills, jumps, side line chant, cheers and a spirit dance (All different than those learned at the Football Cheerleaders’ Spirit Camp). This is a fundamentals camp only: no stunts/tumbling/building will be incorporated into this camp. Participants will be divided up into age groups. Please no spectators in the camp during the session. Participants may bring a snack. Water will be provided.

Complete and return the following information with payment by November 28th to guarantee a shirt. Late registration will be accepted but not guaranteed a shirt.

DCHS at Warren County Tonight (Monday)

The DCHS basketball teams will be in McMinnville tonight to face Warren County.

The girls game tips off at 6 p.m. followed by the boys contest. WJLE will have LIVE coverage with the voice of the Tigers and Lady Tigers John Pryor.

Both the Tigers and Lady Tigers won Saturday night beating Van Buren County in the Hall of Champions in Smithville. The Lady Tigers got a 68 to 45 victory while the Tigers won 103 to 65. Last Tuesday, in the Hall of Champions against Pickett County the Lady Tigers lost 73 to 68 while the Tigers fell 52 to 49.

DCHS Class of 2019 Project Graduation Fundraisers

*The DCHS Class of 2019 Project Graduation and Belk Grocery and Sporting Goods are sponsoring a drawing for a $400 gift certificate to be given away on Monday, December 3 at the store. The certificate can be used for firearms, archery, bait and tackle, or anything else in the store, even bologna sandwiches. Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20. Proceeds benefit Project Graduation.
