A man accused of harassing and demanding oral sex from a teenager has been charged with aggravated stalking.

42-year-old Jessie Comer Harris of Possum Hollow Road, Dowelltown is under a $10,000 bond and he will make a court appearance on May 26.

Sheriff Patrick Ray said that on May 15 Harris showed up several times at the residence of his 17-year-old victim demanding oral sex. Law enforcement officers were notified each time. Meanwhile on May 14 officers were summoned to DeKalb Market due to Harris harassing the same victim at that location. The victim told officers that the harassment from Harris had been occurring for two weeks.

A man and his girlfriend were arrested earlier this month after they were found with methamphetamine and marijuana.

48-year-old Charles Edward White, Jr. of Johnson’s Chapel Road and 34-year-old Tiffany Jeanette Ford of South Carter Street, Sparta are each charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver. Bond for each is $250,000 and they will make a court appearance on May 26.

Sheriff Ray said that on May 12 a search warrant was executed at White’s home and found inside the residence where White and Ford were present was an estimated 18.42 grams of methamphetamine along with various baggies and other paraphernalia. Under the hood of a vehicle outside the home was an estimated 33.1 grams of marijuana.

51-year-old Tisha Elaine Burns of Miller Road, Smithville is charged with being a fugitive from justice. Her bond is $50,000 and she will be in court May 26.

Sheriff Ray said that on May 14 a deputy made contact with Burns at a location on Dry Creek Road. A background check through central dispatch revealed that Burns was wanted in York County, Virginia for probation violation.

50 year old Christopher Bryan Pack, Sr. of Oak Place Drive, Smithville is charged with evading arrest. His bond is $2,000 and he will be in court May 26.

Sheriff Ray said that on May 7 during an incident call investigation at a local business, a deputy spoke with Pack who gave his name and a false date of birth. After providing the information, Pack went into the store and fled on foot out the back door. Pack had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear and that is believed to be his reason for trying to flee.

44-year-old Herman Floyd Wilson, Jr. of Rock Island is charged with violation of a temporary order of protection and bond conditions. His bond is $7,000 and he will make a court appearance June 2.

Sheriff Ray said that on May 16 a deputy was summoned to the Ragland Bottom Recreation area due to a possible domestic incident. Upon arrival the officer spoke to all parties and also learned through an NCIC background check that Wilson was under bond conditions and a temporary order of protection to keep away from a woman and man with whom he was in the presence of at this location.

36-year-old Eric James Cox of Oakley Road, Liberty is charged with public intoxication. His bond is $1,000 and he will make a court appearance June 9.

Sheriff Ray said that on May 22 a deputy was dispatched to a residence on Toad Road where a man (Cox) came onto the property and began beating on the door, trying to get into the house. He was also yelling and cursing. Upon arrival the officer found Cox standing in the driveway. He was heavily intoxicated and irate.
