DeKalb Middle School Football signups will end Friday, February 21.

Packets were distributed two weeks ago at Northside, DeKalb Middle, and DeKalb West Schools. Any 5th, 6th, or 7th grade student interested must return the forms by the end of school on Friday, February 21.

“This upcoming season we are allowing any rising 6th grader to try out if they wish to jump up to the middle school level. Students in need of a packet may obtain one from the office of their school.,” said Saints Coach Justin Poteete.

Remember students at DeKalb West and Northside Elementary need to turn in packets at the offices of their schools while middle school students may turn in their packets to either Coaches Justin or Hunter Poteete.

“I am looking forward to the season this fall and interested in seeing the turnout for football. Our county is too big for the numbers we have had the last two years. I am hoping to see double the number we had last season. It is an absolute blessing to be able to work with these kids and I look forward to it each year,” said Coach Poteete.

For further information contact Justin or Hunter Poteete at DeKalb Middle School.
