A cutsie “Bootsie”!

For only $50 you can take home from the DeKalb Animal Shelter today a beautiful cat sure to give you and your family years of love and companionship.

“Bootsie” is the WJLE/DeKalb Animal Shelter featured “Pet of the Week”.

“Bootsie is a five-and-a-half-year-old spayed female,” said Laura Parsley of the DeKalb Animal Shelter. “ She is up to date on her vaccinations and flea and tick deworming, so she is ready to go home with you today. She loves being out in the Catio and sunbathing on pretty days. Bootsie tolerates the other cats and she doesn’t seem to mind the dogs when we are out walking them around. She would be a pretty good addition for a home with other pets. Her adoption fee is only $50 because she is one of our sponsored pets,” said Parsley.

“If you are interested in adopting Bootsie, please check out the adoptable pet’s link on our website to fill out an application at https://www.dekalbanimalsheltertn.com/ and we will call you to come in and meet her,” Parsley said.

The shelter is open Monday-Friday from 8 to 4 and Saturday from 8 to 12 at 186 Transfer Station Road. Phone 615-597-3647.
