DeKalb Saints Shutout Jackson County 42-0

DeKalb Saints Quarterback Briz Trapp hands off to Colby Barnes (shown in video clip below) for a short touchdown run late in the second quarter to give the home team a 28-0 lead over visiting Jackson County Thursday evening in Smithville. The Saints went on to win 42-0 putting their season record at 2-0. They will host Smith County next Thursday, August 23 at 6:30 p.m. for Homecoming.

Missing Girl Found in Williamson County

A missing Smithville girl has been safely located in Williamson County and her mother is under arrest.
12-year old Brielle Bowling went missing on August 8th. A statewide Endangered Child Alert went out from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Authorities say Brielle was found Thursday with her mother who does not have custody.
Wendy Dawn Hancock, 42, was wanted in Smithville for domestic assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
DCHS Class of 1976 Establishes Scholarship Fund in Memory of Jerry Foster

The DCHS Class of 1976 has started a Scholarship fund in memory of Coach Jerry Foster.
