The remainder of the 2020-21 school calendar shows that DeKalb County students will be off for spring break with no on campus or remote learning the week of March 29 to April 2. Thursday, May 2 will be an administrative day with no school for students. Friday, May 21 will be the last day of school for the year and report cards will be sent home.

Graduation for the Class of 2021 will be Friday, May 14 at 7 p.m. on the high school football field.

The DCHS prom date will be April 9 at the Capital Theatre in Lebanon.

DeKalb residents urged to be on lookout for ‘ armed and dangerous’ man wanted in Warren County

A man wanted for car burglaries and thefts in Warren and other counties has been seen in the DeKalb County area and Sheriff Patrick Ray is asking for local residents to be on the lookout for him.

However Sheriff Ray urges you not to confront this man, 47 year old Jeffery Michael Hodges, because he is believed to be armed and dangerous and is at times under the influence of narcotics.

Hodges is wanted for car burglaries and thefts in Warren and Coffee Counties and has been connected to car burglaries in other counties as well. He is believed to have stolen multiple firearms from vehicles along with other items.

He was recently spotted at a retail store located just north of Smithville in DeKalb County driving a 2010 to 2014 blue Chevy pickup truck. There appeared to be scrap metal in the bed of the truck.

Hodges is described as a white male, 5’9”, 165 lbs, bald, with blue eyes.

“If anyone sees or has any information about Hodges please contact DeKalb Central Dispatch at 615-215-3000 (if an emergency call 911), or you can call the Warren County Sheriff’s Department at 931-473-7863. Private messages can be sent to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department page and will remain confidential,” said Sheriff Ray.
