The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department recently arrested a man wanted in Texas after his probation was revoked on a bigamy charge.
46 year old Christopher Leroy Fox is charged with being a fugitive from justice. His bond is $50,000 and he will be in court September 30.
Chief Deputy Robert Patrick said that on September 13 Fox was arrested on the fugitive charge after it was discovered that he has a warrant against him in Texas where his probation was revoked on a bigamy offense. Authorities in Texas have requested extradition of Fox.
44 year old Harry McIntosh is charged with violation of an order of protection. His bond is $10,000 and he will make a court appearance October 1.
According to the arrest warrant, on September 17 McIntosh entered the home of a woman whom he had been charged with assaulting in a previous incident. The woman said that she was in bed and that when she awoke McIntosh was in bed with her. She then ordered him to leave and the two began arguing. During the incident the woman phoned a friend who contacted central dispatch. A deputy was sent to the scene. McIntosh was in the bathroom upon the officer’s arrival and he was taken into custody for violating an order of protection to keep away from this woman.
50 year old David Eugene Driver is charged with a 7th offense of driving on a revoked/suspended license. His bond is $7,000 and he will make a court appearance September 30.
Chief Deputy Patrick said that on September 15 a deputy spotted a red Chevy S-10 traveling on Highway 70 that failed to use its turning signal when changing lanes. The officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver. He learned that Driver had six prior convictions for driving on a revoked license. He was placed under arrest.
