Fiddle Dee Dee on Broad again presents Fiddle Dee Dee on Broad Gospel Hour Sunday night, December 6 from 5-6 p.m.
The program airs once a month, on the first Sunday night of each month, from 5-6 p.m. featuring recorded local talent performing gospel music.
Sunday night’s program will showcase the music of the Singing Believers and 4 The Lord.
Tune in the first Sunday night of each month for the Fiddle Dee Dee on Broad Gospel Hour from 5-6 p.m. on WJLE.

Blood Assurance Drive Set For December 22

A Blood Assurance drive is set for Tuesday, December 22.
The blood drive will be from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. outside in the parking lot of the Family Medical Center in the bloodmobile.
You may schedule an appointment at www.bloodassurance.org/familymedical. You may also contact Michiko Martin concerning the blood drive at 615-597-4395 or mmartin@dtccom.net
Remember to eat a good meal, drink additional water, and avoid energy drinks and bring a photo ID.
Blood Assurance will be doing COVID antibodies upon request by donors.
Save time on your donation by answering your health history questions before you arrive. Download “bloodassurancequickscreen” on your phone the day of the blood drive. This will save you 10 minutes wait time on the bus.
All donors will be given a “Fleece Holiday Blanket” in addition to double entries into a contest to win a “Holiday home makeover basket” containing $400 in gift cards and a drawing for 2 stockings stuffed with lotto tickets to 2 donors”.
Blood Assurance is the sole blood provider for the local hospitals and your donation is needed for an adequate supply.
All DeKalb Schools to Resume Virtual Learning Friday, December 4

All DeKalb County Schools will be closed to in-person learning starting Friday, December 4 due to increased numbers of COVID-19 cases and quarantines among faculty, staff, and students.
All DeKalb County Schools will continue virtual learning through December 18.
Schools will be closed for the Winter Break December 21 to January 1, 2021.
“We hope to return to in-person learning on January 4, 2021”, said Director of Schools Patrick Cripps.
