Four Men Picked Up on Grand Jury Sealed Indictments

Four more people have been picked up by the Sheriff’s Department on sealed indictments returned by the DeKalb County Grand Jury Monday.
Two of the men, 78-year-old Thomas Joseph Baumann, Jr. of Braswell Lane and 77-year-old William Lloyd Wooldridge of West Main Street, Alexandria are indicted for sex crimes. The other two men, 24-year-old Damion Alexander Dishman of Baxter and 56-year-old Bradley John Baker of Murfreesboro are under indictment for drug offenses.
All four men will be arraigned in DeKalb County Criminal Court on December 13.
The indictments against these men are as follows:
Thomas Joseph Baumann, Jr- Rape. According to the indictment Baumann, between the dates of April 1 and August 1, 2023 allegedly intentionally and knowingly had sexual contact with a woman knowing that she was mentally defective and a vulnerable adult. Bond for Baumann is $150,000. This case was investigated by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department.
William Lloyd Wooldridge-Solicitation of a Minor, Sexual Battery, and Indecent Exposure. The indictments against him allege that on or about May 11 to June 1, 2023 Wooldridge knowingly and intentionally exposed himself to and had sexual contact with a 16-year-old minor. Wooldridge also allegedly by means of electronic communication intentionally requested, persuaded, invited, or attempted to induce the same 16-year-old to engage in inappropriate and illegal conduct on May 26, 2023. His bond is $100,000.
Damion Alexander Dishman- Sale and Delivery of a Schedule I drug (Psilocybin or magic mushrooms). His bond is $150,000. According to the indictment, on or about January 9, 2023, Dishman allegedly unlawfully and knowingly sold and delivered a schedule I controlled substance (Psilocybin) in an amount over 0.5 grams. This case was investigated by the Smithville Police Department.
Bradley John Baker- Sale and Delivery of a Schedule II drug (methamphetamine). His bond is $250,000. The indictment alleges that on or about January 20, 2023 Baker allegedly unlawfully and knowingly sold a schedule II-controlled substance (methamphetamine) in an amount over 0.5 grams. This case was investigated by the Smithville Police Department.

Emily Lattimore is the Smithville Elementary School Teacher of the Month for November.
SES recognizes one teacher each month for his/her outstanding performance in teaching and their contribution to the students at the school. The teacher of the month is selected by the administration at Smithville Elementary.

WJLE’s Fearless Forecasters College Football Talk Show Airs Today (Thursday) at 4:30 p.m.

Grant James remains the leader among WJLE’s Fearless Forecasters picking college football winners after thirteen weeks of the season.
Grant has a record of 139-56 followed by Ricky Atnip at 135-60, Jared Davis and Scott Goodwin each at 134-61, Chad Kirby and John Pryor each at 133-62, Dewain Hendrixson 132-63, and Darrell Gill and Scott Brown each at 128-67.
For the week, Grant James had the best record at 14-1. Darrell Gill, Scott Brown, Chad Kirby, and John Pryor were each at 13-2, Scott Goodwin and Dewain Hendrixson each at 12-3, and Ricky Atnip and Jared Davis were each 11-4.
Two Fearless Forecasters hit their underdog picks last week. Ricky Atnip added 7 points to his total as Kentucky upset Louisville 38-31 and Scott Brown got on the board with 2 points as Iowa defeated Nebraska 13-10.
Overall, Jared Davis still leads in underdog points with 47.5 followed Ricky Atnip with 33.5, Dewain Hendrixson 30, Darrell Gill 18, Scott Goodwin and John Pryor each at 12.5, Chad Kirby 6.5, Grant James with 3 points and Scott Brown 2.
Today (Thursday) the Forecasters will be picking winners in the following games:
New Mexico State vs Liberty, Oregon vs Washington, Oklahoma State vs Texas, Miami (Ohio) vs Toledo, Boise State vs UNLV, SMU vs Tulane, Georgia vs Alabama, Louisville vs Florida State, Michigan vs Iowa, Appalachian State vs Troy, UTC vs Furman, Delaware vs Montana, North Dakota State vs Montana State, Youngstown State vs Villanova, and in the NFL the Indianapolis Colts at the Tennessee Titans.
