Alexandria Old Timers Day Saturday to Feature Music, Crafts, Food, and Motorcycle Ride

Alexandria, home to some of the finest folks on earth, is the place to be Saturday for some old time fun and entertainment during the annual Old Timers Day Craft Show and Flea Market.

The day’s activities begin shortly before 9 a.m. and will continue to 3 p.m. The Alexandria Fire Department will also be hosting its annual fundraising outdoor cookout and motorcycle ride in conjunction with Old Timer’s Day.

The music schedule is as follows:
8:50 a.m.: Blessing
9:00 a.m.: Sadie Faith
10:30 a.m.: Doug Collins and Family
11:00 a.m.: Motorcycles- Outbound
11:30 a.m.: Nancy Brown
Noon: Donnie Uselton
1:30 p.m.: Shirah Brothers
2:30 p.m.: Right On Time

AFFA: food including hotdogs and hamburgers; Jamie Dawson-Paparazzi; Katie Dheere- OMG Leatherworks; High Flight Honey-honey; Compassion Kitchen-baked goods; 4:13 Treats- sno cones and cotton candy; Color Street Nail- nail polish; Royal Monarch Farm- Lila rose hair; BFC Jewelry-jewelry; Mary Kay-makeup; Senior Center; Liz Tetlaw- sewing.

Registration for the Motorcycle Ride starts at 9 a.m. and all bikes are welcome. Kick-stands up at 10 a.m. The cost is $20 per driver. Passengers free but they must pay for their own meal. Enjoy a two hour scenic ride. Fee includes a meal at the end of the ride including a cheeseburger or hotdog with chips and drink. The Cookout on the Square will be from 9 a.m. until? Enjoy a hotdog, hamburger or cheeseburger with chips and drink. The Alexandria Old Timers Day will also be taking place on the square with multiple vendors, music, and more!
