DCHS high jumper , Ally Beneke, became a State Champion on May 26th at the TSSAA-DI AAA track meet. The junior jumped a height of 5 feet 6 inches to claim the title! Beneke had the number one seed going into the competition of 5 feet 7 inches, which she jumped earlier in season.
Ella VanVranken represented DeKalb in the 1600 meter run. She finished 11th overall with a time of 5:25.
