For a mere pittance, you can welcome a pitty mix into your home today thanks to the DeKalb Animal Shelter and the “Friends of DeKalb Animal Shelter Organization.
Come see “Lynn”, the WJLE/DeKalb Animal Shelter featured “Pet of the Week”
“Lynn is our one-year-old Terrier, Pit Bull (pitty mix) but she is fully grown and only about 32 pounds. She is perfect for a lap dog. Lynn is energetic, fun and loves everyone. Lynn also loves to run and play especially with her toys. Lynn has been fully vetted, spayed, and vaccinated with flea prevention, and she has been heart worm screened and micro-chipped. She is super sweet. From today (Friday) until next Wednesday, September 28 her adoption fee is only $80. In fact, the rest of our pets have also been reduced in price by our Friends of organization too.,” said Shelter Director Emmaly Bennett.

The shelter is open Monday-Friday from 8 to 4 and Saturday from 8 to 12 at 186 Transfer Station Road.
