Sisters Addison Paige Curtis and Kallen Averie Curtis of Smithville, daughters of Heather Page and John Curtis were both crowned queen in their respective pageants Wednesday night at the DeKalb County Fair
Eleven-year-old Addison won the Miss Sweetheart pageant while 8-year-old Kallen captured the Miss Princess title.
Addison succeeds the retiring Miss Sweetheart, Baylei Anne Benson of Smithville. Baylei is the 13-year-old daughter of Karey and John Washer and Christopher Benson.
Ten-year-old Shaniya Bates of Liberty, daughter of Tom and Chyna Bates was first runner-up and Most Photogenic in the pageant.
Second runner-up went to Arraya Jenae Taylor, 11-year-old daughter of Angie Taylor of Smithville.
Callen Alizabeth Tramel, 12-year-old daughter of Hillary and Caleb Tramel of Smithville was voted Miss Congeniality.
Kallen succeeds the retiring Miss Princess Chloe Payton Myers, 8-year-old daughter of Crystal Stibil of Smithville.
Haddeigh Grace Harvey was First Runner up in the pageant. She is the 7-year-old daughter of Chad and Kayla Harvey of Alexandria
Second runner up went to Wrigley Marie Jared, 8-year-old daughter of Tim and Shelly Jared of Smithville. Wrigley was also named Miss Congeniality.
Eight-year-old Ava Grace Roller was judged Most Photogenic. She is the daughter of George and Abbey Roller of Smithville.
Rounding out the top seven were Piper Chapman, the 7-year-old daughter of Taylor and Josh Chapman of Smithville; Ava Grace Roller, 8-year-old daughter of George and Abbey Roller of Smithville; Peyton Elizabeth Knowles, 8-year-old daughter of Justin Knowles and Mary Knowles of Smithville; and Laylah Hale, 8-year-old daughter of Kaylee Hale of Dowelltown.
