Dan DeLaCruz has announced his candidacy for 4th District County Commissioner in the May 3rd DeKalb County Republican Primary.
DeLaCruz’s formal announcement is as follows:
“My name is Dan DeLaCruz and I am running for 4th District County Commissioner. As I campaign, I hope to earn the support of my District and community”.
“I moved here from Ohio 8 years ago and have immersed myself in this community since the beginning. I am the owner/operator of Smithville Computer and the host of “Tech Talk” on WJLE weekly,” said DeLaCruz.
“As a business owner and operator, I would like to share my experiences with the County Commission, and I hope to be a valuable asset”.
“Businesses don’t typically get a say in government; however, they are a critical part of our community. Therefore, I have organized a Small Business Owner/Operator “Round Table” meeting to gather ideas, thoughts and complaints to use as part of my platform going into the general election. There are approximately 40 brick and mortar businesses in the 4th District and many more home-based businesses I have yet to discover. This “Round Table” meeting is open to all business owners and operators within the 4th District and will be hosted at The DeKalb Community Complex – Art Room. 712 S. Congress Blvd. Smithville. Tuesday, March 22 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm”.
“Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by phone or text 931-264-4857,” said DeLaCruz
