The DCHS Tigerettes, fresh off their 10-0 Region Tournament opening softball victory over Marshall County Monday evening, are scheduled to host Upperman Thursday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m. in Smithville at the Danny Bond Field on the campus of DCHS. A Region Tournament championship is on the line

Kora Kilgore, the winning pitcher for the Tigerettes Monday night pitched a one hit shutout through five innings. She struck out 12 and walked only one hitter.
DeKalb County scored 10 runs on 13 hits and made no errors. DC scored 2 runs in the 1st inning, 5 runs in the 2nd, and 3 runs in the 3rd inning.
Brookelyn Nunley was the losing pitcher for Marshall County.
Tigerette Rylee Wilbur had 3 hits in the game including a solo homerun in the first inning. She also singled in the 2nd inning and doubled in the 3rd.
Bryna Pelham had 2 hits and 4 RBI. Kora Kilgore collected 3 hits. Zayleigh Bain had 2 hits, and Gracie Randolph, Elaina Turner and Hannah Brown each had 1 hit.
