Lady Tiger Golf Team has another strong performance

The DeKalb County High School Golf Team played in the Keith Maxwell Invitational on Tuesday hosted by Warren County High School at the McMinnville Country Club. The girls’ team, made up of Alison Poss, Emily Anderson, and Chloe Boyd, finished tied for 1st but lost to Eagleville in a two-team playoff. The girls record for the year is now 22-1. Chloe Boyd won the individual tournament with a 77.

The boys’ team finished 9th out of 13 teams. The boys are now 15-18 on the year. Bradley Hale led the boys with an 81.

In addition to their strong performances, several team members picked up some district honors. Alison Poss and Bradley Hale were named to the AA District 7 All-District Team. Chloe Boyd was named District Player of the Year. AA District 7 is made up of Cookeville, Cumberland County, DeKalb County, Livingston Academy, Stone Memorial, Upperman, Warren County, and White County Schools.
