Lebanon Man Charged with Credit Card Fraud

A Lebanon man is charged with five counts of credit card fraud.

38 year old Bradley Thomas Riley is under a $15,000 bond and his court date is December 20. He is charged with five counts of fraudulent use of a debit or credit card.

Sheriff Patrick Ray said that Riley used a debit/or credit card to swindle his victim on June 11 at Caney Fork Electric Cooperative for $161.50 and for a Verizon Wireless Pre-Paid card for $56.04; on July 5 at Raceway for $36.45 and Lebanon Pawn and Gun for $155; and on July 6 for $205.27 at Caney Fork Electric Cooperative.

41 year old Jamie Dawn Coffman of Sparta is charged with two counts of theft of property over $1,000. Her bond totals $17,500 and she will make a court appearance on December 6.

Sheriff Ray said that on November 30, 2017 Coffman stole a golden companion scooter, 2-Devibiss breathing machines, a cordless mouse, and a USB port valued at more than $1,000. Eight days later on December 8, 2017 Coffman took a 2004 Ford F150 valued at $9,000.

Coffman is also charged in separate cases of theft and forgery. Her bond on these charges is $6,500 and she will make a court appearance December 6. She is accused of forging checks on November 12, December 7, December 11, and December 29, 2017 with a total value of the theft at $530.

79 year old Frank Donald Thomas of Liberty is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting stop, frisk, halt, arrest, or search. He is under a $4,500 bond and his court date is December 20.

Sheriff Ray said that on Monday, November 26 a deputy was dispatched to a residence on Nashville Highway at Liberty in reference to a fight. Upon arrival the officer confronted Thomas who began cussing at the deputy and yelling at other people there causing a disturbance and making unreasonable noise.

After the officer informed Thomas he was under arrest for disorderly conduct, he walked into the house and when they tried to place him in handcuffs he began to pull his arms away and sat down on the couch trying to avoid an arrest.

39 year old Jeffery Lynne Barrett of Smithville is charged with domestic assault. He is under a $2,500 bond and his court date is December 13.

Sheriff Ray said that on Friday, November 30 a deputy was dispatched to a home on Sparta Highway due to a report of a physical domestic but before he arrived the accused (Barrett) had already left. The deputy spoke with the victim who said that Barrett had choked and pushed her causing red marks on her neck. The woman said she and Barrett are dating and living together.

41 year old Pablo Gonzales of Bright Hill Road, Smithville is charged with domestic assault. He is under a $3,500 bond and his court date is December 20.

Sheriff Ray said that on Sunday, November 18 Gonzales entered the home of a woman and began arguing with and threatening her. When she reached for the phone to call 911, Gonzales pushed her trying to keep her from calling.

37 year old Kristopher Doyle Hale of Jennings Lane, Smithville is charged with violation of an order of protection. His bond is $1,500 and he will make a court appearance December 20.

Sheriff Ray said that on Saturday, December 1 a deputy was dispatched to Poplar Point in reference to a violation of an order of protection. He spoke with a woman who reported that she has an order of protection against her husband, Hale and that he violated it by coming to the home where she lives to talk to her.

35 year old Joseph Harvey Clark of Smithville, who was with Hale, is charged with aggravated criminal trespassing. His bond is $1,500 and he will make a court appearance on December 20.

Sheriff Ray said that on Saturday, December 1 Clark entered the residence on Poplar Point without the owner’s consent.
