A man who lost his life in a DeKalb County traffic accident last Tuesday will be laid to rest today (Tuesday).
The funeral for 38-year-old Rodney Alan Henry of Sparta will be today (Tuesday) at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Corinth Cemetery. He died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 70 at Snow Hill Tuesday morning, January 10.
Henry was born July 14, 1984 in Nashville,TN. Rodney was an Auto Mechanic and Chef. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Connie and Johnny Turrington, and Paternal Grandparents: A.P. and Lucille Henry.
He is survived by his mother: Lisa Ruth Turrington Bryan
Father: Alan Rod Henry
Brothers: Jessie McCullough, Kyle Henry, and Nicholas Henry
Uncle: Johnny Turrington, Jr.
Aunts: Tammy (David) Perry, Jeanie (Dewayne) Williams, Donna Marsh, and Lora Turrington
Along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family request donations made to Hunter Funeral Home in Sparta in lieu of flowers to help with burial expenses.
