Man Sells Stolen Car for $40

A 21 year old Liberty man has been charged with three counts of theft. His bond totals $12,500 and he will make a court appearance September 9.

According to the warrants, Patrick Gray Gassaway took a Honda 300ex 4-wheeler from a residence on Clear Creek Road, Liberty on August 2 without the owner’s consent. The 4-wheeler was valued at $1,600. The charge is theft of property over $1,000.

Eight days later on August 10, Gassaway took a Stingray bicycle, valued at $100, from the same residence and sold it for $50. The charge is theft of property under $1,000

The same day Gassaway took a 1998 Dodge Neon and sold it for $40. The charge is theft of property.
