Tim Perricone has formally announced his candidacy for Alderman to serve on the Smithville City Council.
In a prepared release, Perricone said he has been a resident of Smithville for 28 years and owned and operated a computer store 1-Source for ten years, building and servicing computers and networks.
“I also worked at Nissan and Dell in the IT industry and currently work at Federal Mogul in Quality doing Calibrations. I have long desired to work in a public office position and look forward to serving the city of Smithville,” said Perricone.
Tim has raised three boys in Smithville. Joseph Perricone currently resides in Murfreesboro and has completed three years at MTSU. Jason Perricone is a Sophomore at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville studying Chemical Engineering and a member of the United States Army. Justin Perricone is serving his country as a United States Marine, currently stationed in Japan.
“I would like to bring my business experience and knowledge to serve as Alderman,” said Perricone.
Three aldermen will be elected on August 6th. The terms are for four years each. Others who have picked up qualifying petitions from the election commission to run for alderman are incumbents Shawn Jacobs, Danny Washer, and Donnie Crook along with newcomer Jessica Higgins in addition to Perricone.
The qualifying deadline is April 2.
